Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer

Recently, my "default printer" has changed from the actual printer, an HP 9015e, to "HP Smart App". As a result, when I want a document to be printed, I am annoyingly asked two questions before I can get the printer to print the document. If I manually go to Settings|Printers, I can change the default printer to the actual printer. BUT under conditions which are not clear to me, some piece of software changes the default printer back to "HP Smart App" - but that is NOT what I want, because I don't want to have to answer the questions repeatedly. How can I prevent that piece of software from changing the default printer to HP Smart App?
