HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e All-in-One Printer

There's a setting on my HP 9025 for "Bluetooth Low Energy" for which I cannot find a meaningful explanation except something about how it's used only for setup.

It's "On" on my printer, and I'd like to turn it off. But I'm blocked from doing so because a message says that can be done only by the person who installed the printer.

Well, I'm the one who installed it and I'm the only person who uses it, so how do I get the printer to obey my wish to turn off a setting I don't even use?

Hi @KinNC,

Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), is used by the HP Smart app to discover the printer during the setup process. Bluetooth Smart does not enable Bluetooth printing. It is only used as an aid for setting up a printer.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
