How can I enlarge or shrink the size of the printout in Ink Advantage 6475 printer?  The only advice I can find from HP is to use "Resizing Options on the Features or Effects tab".  But I can't find any  Features or Effects tab.

Original Content

You can snip (cut out) the content you want to save right from the screen.

After the content is captured, you can Save or Print the content right in the Snip application

Open Firefox

Open the webpage where the image is located.

Center the image on your screen.

If there is room -- and depending on how big or small you want that image,

Make the webpage larger or smaller to make the image the size that you want it.

For example --

After the image is centered on your screen,

Use Control + (control key and plus key at the same time) to make the webpage smaller larger

OR

Use Control - (control key and dash key at the same time) to make the webpage appear smaller

Next,

Use the Snip application to "cut out" the image around the image boundary.

After the image is "snipped", Save the image to your computer.

You can also choose to open the Snip Menu > Select Print

If you "Save" the information, look for it in your Pictures folder - perhaps "Screenshots"

Welcome to the HP Community --

" Features or Effects tab "

I do not recognize what you describe -- or it might be a translation oddity.

Might just be me...  ??

You can shrink or make larger any type of content you can print.

The extent this can be done depends on what you are using and the tools that are available.

What you do depends not on the printer model, the content, and very much on the application or printer software you are using.

Beyond the hardware features and any possible limitations, the printer is spectacularly unaware of what it is printing.

Perhaps tell us more about what you are doing.

For example,

Important >> Operating System / version

Type of content - document or image? If you can tell us the file-type, all the better

The application or software program you are using

and

The size you want to print -- giant poster print?  Tiny photo print?

General Example - Windows - Microsoft Photos - Simple Image Print - selected size

Photos_Print_Letter-5x7_4Photos_Print_Letter-5x7_4

Hi, Dragon-Fur, and thank you for replying.

I have tried most of the resources mentioned at the end of your letter, but didn't find anything helpful.  That is where I got the quote about looking for "Resizing Options on the Features or Effects tab".  I couldn't find any such tab;  that is why I wrote to the forum.  I'm glad to see that it's not just me:  you didn't recognize it either.

If I understand your letter, you're saying that the printer shouldn't have any problem re-sizing the printout;  it's a matter for the software of the printing program on my computer.  I will try to look into that, but because I'm a dinosaur I doubt if I will find it or understand it.

In answer to your other questions:  I am using a Windows 10 computer with a 64-bit operating system.  My browser is Firefox and my search engine is DuckDuckGo.  My email is Outlook,  I want to re-size an image on a page I want to save from Firefox.  The printer is an HP DeskJet Plus Ink Advantage 6475.

Thanks again.
