Unfortunately, it does not work that way.

 

Each installation of the Full Feature Software creates its own "Printer Assistant" (formally known as Solution Center) for each printer installed on the computer.

 

The software installation creates the Printer Assistant shortcut icon on the Desktop named for the printer.
