I need help regarding my printer. My husband bought our printer in Saudi Arabia. However, we're using it here in the Philippines. May I know how can I use our ink here in the Philippines? How will I know if it's compatible? Do I need to change the region? If yes, how? Please guide me. Our printer is HP deskjet 2600. Thank you!

Hi @alvarezchao
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.
HP customizes some printers and ink cartridges to meet local customer needs. If you take your printer from one country/region to another country/region, you might not find ink cartridges with the same number on the label as your original ink cartridges. If you install an ink cartridge with a different number on the label, you might see one of the following error messages:
-
Incompatible Cartridges
-
Cartridge Not Intended for this Printer
-
Incorrect Cartridges
This model printer uses HP 65 ink cartridges in the Philippines. It uses HP 123 ink cartridges in Saudi Arabia.
We need to perform a region reset.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
