Hey guys,

for the last three hours I am trying to get support for setting up my printer in a new wireless network.

As the "real HP support" is the most ridiculous thing I have seen so far this year I hope the community can help me.

All I want to do is connect my printer to a new wireless network as I have a new wifi router at home.

A seemingly simple task that fails because HP does not provide proper software for the job. At least none I can find.

I use up to date MacOS Catalina 10.15 and have the latest drivers for the printer installed.

The latest software to setup a printer in a wireless network that I found is only supported until MacOS 10.14 - consequently not running on my Computer because it is simply too old.

Is there any software that I can use to setup a printer in a wireless network?

A big thank you in advance for every helpful advice 🙂

If your new router has a WPS button then press the WPS button on the printer for 3-4 seconds until status led start to blink.

Then press the WPS button on your router and the printer should connect to your router within a few minutes.

Make sure your new wireless router has 2,4GHz wireless band because printer can't connect to 5GHz wireless band.
