I've been trying all morning to get something to print from my kid's Chromebook (homework) with no success.
Previously the 8620 was at least showing up as an available printer on the chromebook, but I did a reset (unplugged cord from wall and from printer, waited a few minutes, then plugged back in), and now my 8620 is disconnected from our home internet completely - each time I attempt to run the wireless wizard or do anything in settings, I get this error message:
"The feature has been locked by your administrator or the person who set up the printer."
As far as I know, the administrator / person who set up the printer (which is also me) didn't lock ANY settings.
The best info I've found after reading the manua & similar questions in the help forum says I'll need to do a factory reset and re-initialize the printer, but the way to do that is never actually in the answer.
Can someone please let me know how to do this? I'm totally stuck and right now I can't print anything from ANY device.
I chose "Unknown OS" because the printer typically works well w/my macbook, iphone, and work PC. It's just this Chromebook that I'm having issues with right now.
