To fix the certificate expired error on your HP printer using a Mac, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open the HP Smart app: If you don't have it installed, you can download it from the App Store.
  2. Select your printer: Click on your printer's name or image.
  3. Access Printer Settings: Go to printer settings, then select advanced settings or embedded web service (EWS).
  4. Navigate to Certificates: In the EWS, go to the network summary, then security, and finally certificates.
  5. Create a New Certificate: Select configure, then create a new self-signed certificate, and follow the prompts to complete the process.

After completing these steps, try printing again to see if the issue is resolved.
