Hi @Maleguenna,
Welcome to HP Forum! 🙂
I will be happy to help you with your HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One Printer - N911g.
I understand that you were using Non-HP ink cartridges and now that printer is asking for original ink cartridges even though you have installed genuine HP ink cartridge.
You can try performing a reset on the printer. I am sending a private message with instructions. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen to access your mailbox.
Those steps should do the trick, let me know the outcome.

As you have already tried these steps and still having the issue, I would personally suggest you contact our HP phone support for further assistance. If your product is Out of warranty then remember to choose the paid options to get the tech support number.
They might have multiple options to help you on this.
Please use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:
Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone number and phone number appear.
They will be happy to assist you immediately.
Keep me posted for any other assistance,
Cheers.

Hi @Maleguenna,
Welcome back to the HP Forums! 🙂
As I understand that you bought a set of new ink cartridges and the printer is asking to install setup ink cartridges.
I will be glad to help you.
The ink cartridges you get along with a new printer are called setup ink cartridges.
As you were not using genuine HP ink cartridges all this while that is why now the printer is asking for setup ink cartridges.
You can get those setup ink cartridges from HP if you don't have it.
For that contact HP Phone Support for further assistance. If your product is Out of warranty then remember to choose the paid options to get the tech support number.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.
