To install your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M125-M126 PCLmS printer, follow these steps:
Step 1: Download and Install the Driver
Visit the HP Support Website:
- Go to the HP Support website.
Find Your Printer:
- In the search bar, type "LaserJet Pro MFP M125-M126" and press Enter.
- Select your specific printer model from the list.
Download the Driver:
- Choose your operating system from the drop-down menu (Windows, macOS, etc.).
- Download the full feature software and driver package.
Install the Driver:
- Once downloaded, open the file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.
- During the installation process, you will be prompted to connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable.
Step 2: Connect the Printer to Your Computer
Connect via USB:
- Use a USB cable to connect your printer to your computer.
- Ensure the printer is turned on.
Connect via Wi-Fi (Optional):
- If your printer supports wireless connectivity, you can connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
- During the driver installation, choose the wireless connection option and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Step 3: Verify Printer Installation
Check Printer Status:
- On Windows: Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers and verify that your printer is listed.
- On macOS: Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and verify that your printer is listed.
Print a Test Page:
- Print a test page to ensure the printer is working correctly.
