Hi

 

May i ask how can I allow the installation or update of the printer drivers in an Point&Print scenario without the user being administrator after updating Microsoft 10 August Security Updates?

This is actually meant to improve the security of system (by Microsoft), see details here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/kb5005652-manage-new-point-and-print-default-driver-instal...

In the link above also shared some method/steps for users to workaround the situation by modifying registry key and etc…

You can also switch to model specific PCL-6 (V4) drivers from support.hp.com to connect to a print server share, as an alternative.
