Hi @KelvinAkola,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To print a card measuring 5.5 x 8.5 cm on an HP DeskJet 2700 printer, you can follow these steps.
- Prepare the design: Use a software program like Microsoft Word, Adobe Photoshop, or any other design tool to create your card. Set the document size to 5.5 x 8.5 cm and design your card accordingly.
- Load the paper: Make sure you have the appropriate paper size for your card. Cut your card to the correct dimensions if necessary. Load the paper into the printer's input tray. Adjust the paper guides to fit the card size properly.
- Open the print dialog: On your computer, open the document you want to print. Go to the "File" menu and select "Print" or press the Ctrl + P keys simultaneously to open the print dialog box.
- Select the printer: From the list of available printers, choose your HP DeskJet 2700 printer.
- Configure print settings: Click on the "Properties" or "Preferences" button (the exact wording may vary depending on your operating system and printer driver). In the settings window, locate the "Paper Size" or "Media Size" option and select the appropriate size for your card, which should be 5.5 x 8.5 cm or closest to it.
- Adjust print quality: Depending on your preferences, you can adjust the print quality settings. Look for options like "Print Quality," "Print Mode," or "Print Resolution" and choose the desired setting. Keep in mind that higher print quality settings may result in slower printing speeds.
- Print the card: Once you have configured all the settings, click on the "Print" button to start printing. The HP DeskJet 2700 printer will begin printing your card according to the specified dimensions.
- Ensure that your printer has enough ink or toner and that it is properly connected to your computer before attempting to print.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
