Hi. Can't print a selection/page range from a document - only the whole thing?

Printing a page range is generally supported - the printer itself is not aware of what it prints.

 

That said, the particular software / application you are using to view and submit the job to the printer does impact how - and whether - the page range option is supported.

 

General Example - Document Print - Adobe Reader DC
