How do I remove the Brother printer, MFC-L8900CDW, from my HP Envy laptop  computer (purchased 12/08/2017) since I cannot open the program to remove it. The Brother rep that I spoke with on the phone said I should contact HP to get it removed.

I upgraded to Windows 11 earlier this year, after that, I had trouble with extremely slow start-ups. I went to a local computer repair shop, which has 3 locations and decent reviews.  The first tech I talked with said I needed my hard drive replaced.  A couple days later I received a phone call, from a second tech, that did the replacement. He told me he could not transfer my information from the old hard drive to the new  hard drive because "HP had erased my old hard drive".....???...is that even possible? Thank goodness I store all my files on external hard drives, just incase something like this happens.

I am stuck between a rock and a hard place...I know my equipment is not new, but it still works and I do not want to have to replace equipment. Can you help me?

Thank you kindly
