Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I am having issues with my HP printer "Deskjet Ink Advantage 2676". I am unable to reset the administrator/EWS password. I tried resetting the printer by pressing Cancel + Wireless buttons. After entering set up mode, when I access the "Settings" page, it still prompts for username/password. If I leave it empty, it shows an error that the credentials are invalid and does not allow me to reset password.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

I'd be happy to help you! 

 

The solution for your problem. 

Power off the printer. Then while holding down the [X]  and [ ^] buttons on the control panel power on the printer. 

Release the buttons when the display is showing [ NV ]. The printer will restart. 

You have now reverted to factory default.

 

If this still does not help, I recommend you contact phone support.
