We have an HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428fdw (W1A30A) that was setup in one of our remote offices and connected to their network via a hard wired ethernet cable. The previous person whom setup the printer is no longer with our organization and he setup and Admin password to the printer. We do not know the password and are unable to access the printer’s setup menu as it keeps asking for an access code. We need to reset
this printer yet to factory default so we can configure it for use in another location using WiFi instead of direct connection via Ethernet. Does anyone know the steps to reset this printer it’s to factory default settings? The Instructions on page 112 of the user guide do not work as it keeps asking us for an access code that we do not have.
