Due to a new network configuration I had to install the printer again. I performed a Wifi configuration reset. After that I can configure the printer in my HP smart iPhone app. Connection to the wifi network and password for that network all OK.
But then the app asks for a printer password. I have no idea if I ever set one.
Obviously the Wifi configuration reset (press and hold the Wifi button fo 20 seconds) didn't reset this printer password. I have read on this forum several issues with the same problem. The answer of a HP employee is always the same: 'perform a hard reset of the printer, I send you a personal message how to do this.'
So, any of you HP employees: please send me the instructions for a 'hard' reset.............
If any of the members have had the same issue and have these instructions, please send them to me....
