Hi @SVA1978,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you've forgotten the administrator password for your HP LaserJet MFP M430, you might have a few options to regain access.
Factory Reset: This is often the simplest method to regain access to your device, but it will also erase all settings and configurations. To perform a factory reset, you typically need to access the printer's control panel or web interface. Here's a general guide:
- a. From the printer's control panel, navigate to the Settings menu.
- b. Look for an option like "Restore Defaults" or "Factory Reset."
- c. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm and initiate the reset process.
- d. After the reset, the administrator password should revert to the default. Refer to your printer's manual or support documentation for the default password.
Default Administrator Password: Most HP printers come with a default administrator password. This password is often listed in the printer's manual or on a sticker attached to the printer. Look for documentation that came with your printer or search online for the default password for the HP LaserJet MFP M430.
Remember that performing a factory reset will erase all settings and configurations, so be sure to back up any important data or settings before proceeding.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
