When I scan multiple pages (through document feeder) using HP scan software, in the end I get random areas cropped from the images.
Reinstalling software didn't help.
HP smart app works fine but it misses 2 sided scanning feature.

Hi,
From the Control Panel, uninstall the HP Deskjet 3830 Basic Device Software.
Download and install the below version of the HP software and check for any change:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/DJ3830/DJ3830_Full_WebPack_35.0.61.exe
