I have downloaded the drivers.  I have not tried to look at the PDF and print; however on another document it now prints two pages and then says "Printer- Filter Failed".

Apologies for jumping in unannounced.

I just tested this on Linux using CUPS to change the default Print settings -

Excellent.

How to Stop Two-Side Printing From Being the Default in macOS

What else?

One of our members provided his own answer in this thread -- last post.

This helped, but with modification that others might want to know about. I do not have a "Show Details" button. But this is what I did:

1. Open a document you want to print.

2. Go to "File > Print" or "Command-P." A Print window opens.

3. Click on "Copies and Pages." Options open.

4. Click on "Layout." Near the bottom, notice "Two-Sided."

5. Click on the arrows for "Two-Sided."

6. Click "Off."

7. Click "Print."

No apologies needed!!

I did fix the previous failure - had to remove printer and reinstall to get it to work on the MAC.

I looked at your response and the options you mention are not available on the print screen. (I took a screen shot in an earlier reply).  So no resolution to printing double sided from a PDF / Adobe document.

PS  - Thanks for trying
