Want to print out pictures from my slides using a HP ScanJet Slide Adapter and my 7855 HP Printer.

Sorry to bump in but it appears that the item the OP asks about is an actual HP product similar to the DIY device that @Dragon-Fur has liked to.

 

This link provides some basic instructions on using the HP Scanjet adapter. You should be able to use it with any scanner as it is a mechanical device and has no electronic connections. http://mikescamp.us/VisualTopic/orig/4ca_slid.htm
