Hi @Computerme,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

To connect your HP DeskJet 2600 All-in-One Printer to a Windows XP computer without internet, you can use a USB cable and install the driver manually. Here's how:

Offline Setup for HP DeskJet 2600 on Windows XP

Step 1: Connect via USB

  1. Plug the USB cable from the printer into your Windows XP computer.
  2. Power on the printer.

Step 2: Install the Driver Manually

Since you don’t have internet on the XP machine, you’ll need to:

  • Use another device with internet access to download the driver.
  • Transfer it to your XP computer using a USB drive.

🔗 Download the driver here:
HP DeskJet 2600 All-in-One Printer series Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support

On the page, select Windows XP as your operating system to get the correct driver.

Step 3: Install the Driver

  1. On your XP computer, run the downloaded driver file.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
  3. The printer should now be ready to print and scan.

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
