If you encounter the error code 8AF30001 on your HP Smart Tank 7602 Series printer and the display is not functioning properly, here are some general troubleshooting steps you can take:


Restart Your Printer:
 

  • Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord from the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds, then reconnect the power cord to the printer and the outlet.
  • Turn on the printer and check if the error persists.


Check for Firmware Updates:
 


Inspect Connections:
 

  • Check all cable connections to ensure they are secure.
  • If connected via USB, try a different USB port or cable.


Reset the Printer:
 

  • Perform a factory reset of the printer if restarting the device doesn’t resolve the issue. This can often resolve firmware-related errors.
