I installed the "HP All in one" app on my Android phone, but the app is not listed on the list of apps after installation. I even tried doing a search and it's not found.
When I tried to install again on Google Playstore, the app shows up as "installed". How can I locate the app and run it?
Thank you.

I reviewed the post. Thanks for the quick reply. You've done a commendable job of troubleshooting and displayed infinite patience coupled with fabulous resilience to try and fix the issue. Kudos to you for a job well done. 🙂
Please try these steps:
- Please visit a different location like a library.
- Uninstall both the HP All In one app and print service plugin app from both phones.
- Then connect to this wifi network and reinstall them again.
- Then check if they are detected If they get detected and work, then the culprit could be your home network.
Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes. To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles.

Hi @jlijli,
Thanks for stopping by the HP community. A very good day to you. 🙂 I reviewed the post regarding the HP ALL in One Remote app not found on your Android phone. I will be delighted to assist you here. 🙂
Superb description and stupendous diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that. 🙂
- Did you try to uninstall it from the google play store?
For now, try these steps:
Please visit the Google play store and search for the All in on remote app.
- Then it will show up as being installed.
- It is alright. Please click on the app itself on the Google Play store
- It will then give you 2 options to the left you will see the option ‘uninstall’. To the right, you will find the ‘open’ option.
- Click on uninstall. The app will get uninstalled.
- Then close google play store and restart the phone.
- Then reopen Google play store and reinstall the app. This should do the trick for you.
- If it does not, you could install the HP print service plugin app from the google play store and use it instead of the HP all in one remote app.
- Also, check if other apps are found and recognized.
- As a last resort, please backup your data and reset the phone to factory settings.
- Then reinstall the HP all in one Remote app from the Google Play store.
Please perform all these steps patiently as it is critical to resolving the issue. The trick is to remain patient, please.
Hope this helps. Let me know how this goes. I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great.

Thanks David.
Actually I did try uninstalling, restarting (phone), and re-installing the All in one app, but still got the same problem.
I uninstalled the All in one app and installed the Hp Print Service Plugin. This Plugin doesn't show up anywhere either.
I repeated the above on another phone (different brand, both Android) and got the same problem.
Since the same problem exists on both phones, I don't think resetting the phones would solve the problem.
Thank you.
