Hi @Luvdcan,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are trying to use your HP DeskJet 2722e printer with store-bought ink and bypass the Instant Ink subscription, you can follow these steps:
1. Cancel Instant Ink Subscription
- If your printer is enrolled in HP Instant Ink, you'll need to cancel your subscription to stop receiving Instant Ink cartridges.
- Log in to your HP Instant Ink account and cancel the subscription under the "Manage Subscription" section.
- Once canceled, HP Instant Ink cartridges will stop working after the billing cycle ends.
2. Purchase Compatible Ink Cartridges
Please check the cartridge details below according to your region
- Ink cartridge models vary by region. Since you bought the printer in Singapore, the printer may be locked to use cartridges designated for that region.
- Check your printer manual or the cartridge compatibility listed inside the cartridge compartment.
3. Change the Printer's Region (if necessary)
- Please let me know once you have cartridges according to your region I will help you to perform a regionalization reset.
perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
To access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
