My printer is about 3-4 years old and has been working fine until today. I went to print some plans and when I turned on the printer, it makes this high pitch and somewhat faint noise. Also, when I went to print the plans, I heard the thing that ejects the ink, then it took around 20 seconds again and it stopped. It did that until I shut it off. When It starts up after being shut down, one of the motors makes this weird sound. Does anybody have any Idea?

Hi @themann5,
I'd like to help!
Try the below suggestions-
Reset the product
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Also, check for jams or broken parts inside the printer- Paper Jam Error
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
