Product: Hp laserjet p1102w
Operating System: Chrome OS

Hi,

I am trying to get a driver for my HP Laserjet P1102 for a chromebook using the chrome OS, so I can print by USB. There is no driver for a P1102w in the drop down menu in the Chrome OS  and the 1100 series driver does not work.

 

Can anyone help?

Hi,

The P1102 printer is not supported by HP Print for Chrome, only the P1102w model is supported and only through a wireless connection.

 

You may connect the printer to another computer (Windows or Mac) and set up Google Cloud Print as a Classic Printer, you cannot directly printer from Chrome OS to such an Host-Based printer with a USB connection.
