Hi, I have a problem and I will add at the beginning that I can use a computer well.
I bought a printer a month ago, plugged the USB cable, windows10 detected the printer itself, install the drivers, the HPSmart application that I downloaded was recommended, everything installed quickly and worked. I used a printer from time to time
but when I connected it today with the intention to use it, an error popped up in the form of unable to print or find the printer with the error "hp 0x800706ba". After a while of googling and not finding the problem, I figured it would reinstall the drivers. I uninstalled everything that was in "applications" on the system related to HP / printer.
I also restarted the computer, plugged the USB cable connecting the computer, detected the printer, configured it, recommended HPsmart, but when I tried to configure it in HPSmart, as I did the first time, now HPSmart can no longer find the printer and informs that the USB cable is not connected.
I tried to manually print some text file (no hp smart) and I was successful, but I would like to link everything to hpsmart where there is also a scanning option. The third time, I uninstalled everything again, this time I found drivers directly for my printer on the HP website, installed it,
but the installation ends with pointing to HPSmart which "spins" and cannot find the connected printer (but windows10) supports it. Please help

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Let's try to do a root uninstall and reinstall of the software:
Unplug any USB cable, if any, before doing this.
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo
14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
15.) Restart the computer.
Once done, please download and install the software from here:
