I am trying to register my HP 3700 Deskjet printer. I have the serial number, but every time I enter it on the HP website to register it for a warranty, I am told that the serial number is not recognized. I am certain that I am typing in the given number correctly. I am unable to go through support directly or call a support member because I don't have a registered product. So I have been going around in circles. This is very frustrating.

Keep in mind that HP serial numbers typically do not have alphabetic "O" in them, they are usually zeros. I have also escalated your post and have asked to moderator to have an HP agent reach out to you. They will normally contact you via a private message. The envelope icon in the upper right will turn red when you have a message waiting.

If you find the information provided useful or solves your problems, help other users find the solution easier by marking my post as an accepted solution. Clicking "yes" on "was this reply helpful" also increases the chances that this solution will help others.
