Changed internet to STARLINK, my 2620 printer fails to connect, wireless light flashing. The Starlink does not have a WPS button. Have disconnected several times, held down the wireless and cancel buttons but nothing seems to work. I am trying to set up an ink order but the app says printer offline.
Any advice would be gratefully received.

Hi @Mazz1455,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP 2620 printer is not connecting to your Starlink router, here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue.
- Restart Devices: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix connectivity issues. Turn off both your printer and Starlink router, wait for a few seconds, and then turn them back on.
- Check Wireless Settings: Ensure that your Starlink router's wireless settings are compatible with your printer's requirements. Your printer may only support certain wireless frequencies (2.4 GHz, for example), so check if your router is broadcasting on the correct frequency.
- Manual Connection: If your printer does not have a WPS button and the automatic connection is not working, you may need to manually connect your printer to the Wi-Fi network. On your printer's control panel, navigate to the wireless setup menu and select the option to manually connect to a network. Follow the on-screen prompts to enter your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.
- Printer Placement: Ensure that your printer is placed within the range of your Wi-Fi router to receive a strong signal. Physical obstructions such as walls and electronic devices can weaken the signal strength.
- Firmware Update: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Sometimes, updating the firmware can resolve compatibility issues with newer routers.
- Printer Reset: If none of the above steps work, you may need to perform a factory reset on your printer. Be aware that this will reset all printer settings to their default values, so you will need to set up the printer again from scratch.
By following these steps, you should hopefully be able to resolve the connectivity issue and get your HP 2620 printer connected to your Starlink router.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Thankyou for your response, I have already switched everything off and restarted but to no avail. Sorry but have no idea what frequencies my printer work on, I thought HP would know this. As I stated I cannot do a manual search as the HP2620 does not have a screen. I have also tried to add my printer as a new device on the app, but need a claim code, but again unable to do so as have no ink, which is what I am trying to order from yourselves. Sorry but feeling very frustrated that I can no longer use my printer.
