Hi @J44King,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

If your HP OfficeJet 8132e printer does not show the custom size option in the printer preferences, you can follow these steps to enable and set custom paper sizes:

Steps to Enable Custom Paper Size:

Open Printer Properties:

  • On your computer, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers (or Printers & Scanners on newer Windows versions).
  • Right-click on your HP OfficeJet 8132e printer and select Printing preferences or Printer properties.

Access Paper/Quality Tab:

  • In the printing preferences window, look for a tab labeled Paper/Quality or something similar.

Locate the Paper Size Settings:

  • Click on the Paper Size dropdown menu. If there is no direct custom size option, check for a button labeled Advanced, More, or Custom.

Add a Custom Paper Size:

  • If available, select Custom or User-Defined Sizes.
  • If you don't see these options, you may need to create the custom size through the printer's driver settings:
    • Look for a Custom Size or Manage Custom Sizes option.
    • Click New or Add, then enter your desired paper dimensions.
    • Name your custom size (e.g., "Custom 5x7"), and click OK or Save.

Update Printer Driver (If Custom Size Not Available):

  • Ensure your printer driver is up-to-date. You can check the latest driver on the HP Support website.
  • If the latest driver still doesn’t offer a custom size option, try installing the HP Universal Print Driver which often provides more flexible paper size settings.

Adjust Settings in the Application (if applicable):

  • Some applications, like Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat, also allow you to set custom sizes directly within the print dialog. Check the application's print settings if the option isn't available in the printer's preferences.

Restart and Test:

  • After setting the custom paper size, restart your print job and select your newly created custom size from the paper size list.

If these steps do not provide the option to add a custom paper size, it might be a limitation of the specific printer driver or model. In that case, using the HP Universal Print Driver might help.

If that does not help, I recommend you contact phone support.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
