HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Downloaded the firmware driver hoping that would help. Found instructions to place on a USB and insert into the printer and then start up the printer. I did this but the printer did nothing with the USB or the OJP8710_2224B.exe file that was on it? I was hoping maybe this would fix my problem with printing multiple pages, but as the hours go by nothing seems to help. Time to put the garbage out...

Why don't you run the firmware .exe file you downloaded on your computer to run a firmware upgrade?

Saving .exe on a USB and inserting a USB in the printer will do nothing.

When I run the .exe, even as Administrator, the firmware update shows up but will not allow me to check the box,

If the firmware on the printer is the same as your exe you will not be able to run the same firmware version.
