Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

Hello,

 

I installed the HPSmart app for my officejet 8012 in my MacbookAir OS 10.14.6 version. It worked at the beginning of the installation, but crashed when it finished installing and I started fill in my info for the HPAccount registration.

I have tried to uninstall the HPSmart app and installed it again but it didn’t work.

Please, could anybody help me?

Do you have any Anti-virus program installed on the MAC?

 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

 

Also, check for any software updates on MAC

Click here to know how.

 

Create a new user account on the MAC, install the HP Smart app from here and check if the issue persists.

Refer to this document o know how to create a new user account for testing purposes.
