I Need a driver to be able to print via USB connection and not wifi

When attempting to add my printer under System Settings, I do not find a driver to do so via USB connection. The printer will work to print over wifi, but I have no wifi at home where I want to use the printer. The printer appears when connected via USB, but there is no driver, so I cannot add it. I used HP Smart to attempt to resolve the issue, but it did not work. At Apple supports suggestion I re-installed Sequoia 15.4.1 to see if that would work and it did not. It seems odd that I can not just plug in a printer with a USB connection and print, etc. I have tried to connect to three other printers: an Epson, a Canon, and another HP. However, they all exhibit the same issue. Apple is suggesting I go to a "genious bar" and see if they can help. I am 300 miles from the nearest one, but in a couple of weeks, I will be passing through Minneapolis, MN, and I will be able to seek their assistance if I have not resolved the issue by then.

2. Then install the next software for your printer:

• >> HP Printer Laserjet essentials driver - B5_1901

I tried installing it twice and got the same message. I would be most grateful if you had any other ideas!

1. Ok, if that doesn´t work then use HP Easy Admin software:

>> https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Admin.app.zip

2. In the search window for Download Software enter the next model:

• HP LaserJet M14w
• 

3. Then download "Essential Software" and start installation.

* Click YES   to say thank you, 

* Click Accepted Solution when question is answered.
