@Sunas, Thank you for your response.
The alert you're getting is a macOS system warning about older HP software (like drivers or extensions) that may not be supported in future macOS versions (such as macOS 15 Sequoia or later). It doesn't mean your printer will stop working immediately but it’s a heads-up that some features might break after a future update.

Here’s how to stay ahead of the issue:

Use AirPrint or HP Smart App

These are modern, Apple-supported printing methods that don’t rely on the older system extensions causing the alert.

  • AirPrint: Works without installing drivers.
  • HP Smart App: Fully compatible with macOS and regularly updated.

If you're already using either of these, you're in good shape!

I hope this helps!

If my response resolves your issue, please click “Accepted Solution” to help others find the answer. Also, don’t forget to click the “Yes” button to say thanks!

Take care and have a great day.

My printer still works for now. I keep getting alert about a future Mac software upgrade being incompatible with something on the Tango printer.

I worry that if I upgrade Mac software someday  it will make printer not work.

Mac alert suggests contact developer ask if there will be resolution to upcoming problem???
