Hi @Mrniceguy1288,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you are locked out of your HP OfficeJet 6958 printer settings after changing your Wi-Fi router, you may need to reset the printer's network settings and reconnect it to the new Wi-Fi network. Here's how you can do it.

  • Press the "Wireless" icon on the printer's control panel.
  • Press the "Settings" icon (gear-shaped) on the touch screen.
  • Scroll down and select "Restore Network Defaults."
  • Confirm that you want to restore the network settings to their default values by selecting "Yes."
  • Once the printer has reset, connect it to your new Wi-Fi network using the printer's Wireless Setup Wizard. Follow the on-screen prompts to enter your Wi-Fi network name and password.
  • Once the printer is connected to the Wi-Fi network, you should be able to access the printer's settings and make any necessary changes.

If you're still unable to access the printer's settings after resetting the network settings and reconnecting to the Wi-Fi network, try restarting both your printer and your Wi-Fi router.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
