I need to know the location of the claim code for my printer.  I cannot find it anywhere.

@SteveJ1953, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Here is how you print the claim code on the printer-

Press the HP ePrint icon. Make sure to select Set Up or Yes to enable Web Services, and then accept the terms. If Web Services are already enabled on your printer, you see a Web Services Summary after pressing the HP ePrint icon. If enabled, press Print or Print Info to print the Printer Info Page. If a page still does not print, or you are not able to print because you are out of ink, press the HP ePrint icon on your control panel display and find your HP ePrint email address. The first part of the HP ePrint address preceding "@hpeprint.com" is your claim code. For example, if your HP ePrint email is "abc@hpeprint.com", then "abc" is your claim code. If you are unable to find the HP ePrint icon on your control panel display, see "Cannot find HP ePrint icon on printer control panel display".

If the above steps do not solve the issue, make sure the printer is powered on, then unplug it. Wait a few minutes before plugging the printer in again, then press the HP ePrint icon on your control panel display, followed by Print or Print Info to print the page.

Additionally, refer to the document HP Printers - Having Trouble Claiming Your Printer? for more details.

Hello,

Thank you for trying to help me fix my printer Claim Code.  I tried what you indicated and that did not work.  I also tried ever number and number combination that I saw on my printer screen.

It does give me a Web Service Setup button/option on the printer.  I printed the info page but it does not give me a Claim Number.  There is a:  model number, a serial number, a product number, a service ID, a Firmware Version, a URL, and a Hostname.  None of these numbers was accepted on/in the Claim Number page.

The printer's email address is given and I even tried that (the part before the @hpeprint.com.

Thanks Again,

Steve
