I am unable to find the full version drivers to downloan for hp 3830 - any NEW suggestions?

I have tried all the prior suggestions, HP Smart, HP Customer (non) support, etc, but still cannot find the full driver version for my HP Officejet 3830.  Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Go to the Software-Utility (2) section and download the software "HP Officejet 3830 Print Scan Driver and Accessories", (164 mb in size).

In that case those are the softwares available.

HP would recommend you to use HP SMART. It is a lighter version of software which has faster connectivity, can sync on Mobile apps and other Desktop / Laptops as well, with all your personal settings and data.

HP SMART provides all options to print, scan, and also fax for fax printers.

You can perform edits as needs before printing and after scanning.

Hence please use HP Smart for the printer.

Nope - does not work - only loads basic drivers and I require the full set for the scanner to work properly.   I have tried all the suggested HP solutions and all I did was waste hours of time

Hi,

Please use HP Smart, it has all the features of Scan and that is the general software for Scanning.

You need to connect the printer on Wireless for the HP Smart to work.

No, those are NOT the only drivers around.  When you install the basic drivers, you receive an error message from HP fix indicating you need to load the full drivers to get the scanner to work; I have done so in the past with the same printer on 2 occasions.  Now, suddenly, they are nowhere to be found, but, when you call HP, for a mere $59 + per computer, they can miraculously install them for you   However, when you explain, for the third or fourth of multiple times, this is a problem for more than one computer and you merely need the drivers, they suddenly cannot help you but will have a "supervisor' call you back in 10 or 15 minutes. That was about 24 hours ago.  More interestingly, is when you do find what are supposed to be the full drivers and are labeled as such, and are one of 3 choices for downloading, the other 2 being to use HPSmart (at avoidance) and the Basic drivers, and you chose the full version, only the Basic drivers load.  Hmmm, sounds like a scam to this attorney whose office has used HP products for over 30 years, but will never do so again.
