@Eliane72190, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble turning on your HP Envy after being away for a few weeks. Let's try a few steps to get it powered back on:
Check the Power Source:
- Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the printer and the wall outlet.
- Try plugging the printer into a different outlet to rule out a faulty socket.
Inspect the Power Cord and Adapter:
- Look for any visible damage to the power cord or adapter.
- If you have access to a compatible power cord (from another HP printer), try swapping it to see if that helps.
Reset the Power:
- Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the wall.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord directly to a wall outlet (avoid power strips or surge protectors).
- Try turning the printer on again.
Check for Signs of Life:
- Do you see any lights, hear any sounds, or notice the display flicker when pressing the power button?
If none of the above steps work, the issue might be related to:
- A failed power supply or internal hardware fault.
We suggest you please visit the nearest HP authorized service center, the service team will check and assist you.
Kindly follow this link to locate the nearest HP service center: HP® Service Center Locator - United States | HP® Support
