Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I recently purchased a HP LaserJet MFP m140w printer. The information said it would work with my MacBook Air with an OS 11 or higher. I have Mac OS 11.7.10. but when I try to get the printer download, it says I need OS 12, which won't download on my MacBook Air.
