Hi @tin2025,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Ensure Wi-Fi Connection
- Make sure your printer and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Check that your Wi-Fi signal is strong enough to connect to the printer.
Restart Devices
- Restart both your printer and your computer or mobile device.
- After restarting, try reconnecting to see if the issue is resolved.
Update HP Smart App
- Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed on your device.
- You can check for updates in the app store or on the official HP website.
Reset Network Settings
- On the printer control panel, navigate to the Network menu and reset the network settings.
- Reconfigure the Wi-Fi settings again and ensure it connects properly.
Use HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and solve potential connectivity issues with your printer.
Confirm Printer is Online
- Check that your printer is not in offline mode.
- Ensure the HP Smart app recognizes your printer and displays it as an available device.
Disable VPN and Firewalls Temporarily
- Sometimes, VPNs and firewalls can interfere with the connection.
- Temporarily disable them and try setting up the printer again.
Manual IP Address Entry
- During the setup, you can manually enter the printer’s IP address in the HP Smart app to help the app find your printer on the network.
- The IP address can be found on the printer’s control panel by navigating to the Network information.
I hope this helps.
