I can't save my printers name

Because how can we connect the HP smart tank 520 if it's only for USB cable and it's not wireless. That's why I'm stressing out cause I tried everything but it doesn't work in my Chromebook. It says we need printer ppd or ppd file but how? can u help me what should I do cause I just bought it recently and until now i can't use it

I understand the confusion, especially since the printer is new and your Chromebook is asking for a PPD file. The good news is that the HP Smart Tank 520 All-in-One series supports wireless printing, so you do not have to rely only on a USB connection.

Set up the printer wirelessly
First, please use the official HP Smart Tank 520 All-in-One series Setup | HP® Support page. It will guide you through setting up the printer and connecting it to your wireless network.

You can also install the HP App on a compatible device and use it to complete the printer setup and connect the printer to Wi-Fi.

Once the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromebook, you should be able to add it to ChromeOS without needing to connect the printer by USB.

Set up the printer on your Chromebook
After the printer is connected to Wi-Fi:

1. On your Chromebook, select the time in the lower-right corner. 
2. Select Settings. 
3. Select Advanced. 
4. Under Printing, select Printers. 
5. Select Add printer. 
6. Select your HP Smart Tank 520 when it appears. 
7. Follow the on-screen instructions to add the printer.

If ChromeOS asks for a PPD file, don't download a PPD file from an unofficial website. First, make sure the printer is connected to your Wi-Fi and then follow HP's Chromebook setup procedure above.

The key point is that your HP Smart Tank 520 is wireless-capable, so the recommended approach is to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi first and then add it to your Chromebook. This should avoid the USB-only setup you have been trying.
