Officejet Pro 9015e
Linux

I tried to setup HP office Jet Pro 9015e on Linux  and  on iOS and neither worked. if anybody succeeded in setting up this printer on a version of Linux I would like to know about it.

I used an iPad to do the setup. I downloaded HP Smart to my iPad. It told me that to complete the setup to go to Settings->WiFi and  there I would find something starting with "SETUP". But what I found there instead was '" DIRECT-B3-HP Officejet Pro 9015". When I clicked on it I was asked for a password. I tried the password for my WiFi , but it would  not accept it. Now I have no Idea how to proceed further. Can anybody help?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to assist you with the setup issue.

We dot have expertise on Linux, however the password that you need to enter on the iPad is the password you get on printing the network configuration page from the Printer.

From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, touch ( Setup ), touch Reports , and then touch Network Configuration Page

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
