I changed the Admin password from the PIN printed on the back and now longer can remember. I've tried everything to reset the printer. I've also tried to access the printer directly with an USB cable to get to the settings. But no luck. Printer is a Deskjet 2752e. When I get to the settings the message says a custom password has been set. If I print a status report, product information, 12: Printer PIN: Custom user password set, is the value. thanks in advance for any help. I've been messing with this for over a month. To include several hours on the phone with HP support.

@mareecod, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand you are not able to make changes to the settings on the printer. We need to perform a factory reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
