I had to uninstall the software for my printer. I reinstalled it (v 14.0 Release 6) but when i go to Settings > Devices, I now have 4 printer devices. They are:
1) c309g -m offline
2) c309g -m offline
3) c309g -m BT default
4) HP2c7715 (HP Photosmart Premium c309g -m )
If i click on Print Server Properties > Drivers, I have 3 entries:
1) HP Photosmart Premium c309g -m
2) HP Photosmart Premium c309g -m BT
3) HP Photosmart Premium c309g -m BT Class Driver.
If I click on Settings > Apps, there is only one app installed:
1) HP Photosmart Premium c309g -m All in one driver software 14.0 Rel 6.
I again uninstalled the software and reinstalled it but ended up again with all these versions. The c309g -m BT works fine using wireless/Bluetooth. I know I could just leave things as they are, but dont like keeping things on my laptop if they are unneccessary.

Hi,
Thank you for your prompt reply and offer of help. Its much appreciated.
I uninstalled all the HP programs and an extra App named HP Smart. Went in to printui.exe /s and deleted the HP print drivers, but HP Photosmart Premium c309g-m BT would not delete. It says it’s in use – see message below.
The following package(s) can not be deleted:
hpc309g.inf (x64)
This package contains the following driver(s) that are in use:
HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m BT; This driver is used on:
HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m BT
The following driver(s) can not be deleted:
Driver HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m BT (x64) is in use. It is used on:
HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m BT
Just checked out the Devices window and its showing 3 HP c309g printers even though I have uninstalled all but the one with BT on the end. See attached screen shot.
I switched on the printer and it printed ok.
Thought a screenshot of the drivers window might help. Its attached.
Do I need all these Microsoft printer options? I have never used them
Any thoughts?
Lawrence
PS Cant find a way to send you the screenshots.
