Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP MFP 477fnw. I need to change the settings through HP SMART to change the email for "scan to email" The email that was used to set up the printer is no longer working and I cannot log in to change the email. How can I access HP SMART without the previous email? I read if you reset to default settings that it will not change the web services configuration? The printer works fine, except for scan to email because the email no longer works and I cannot use it to log in to change settings. HELP!

If you are using scan to email directly on the device you can change the scan to email settings through the embedded web server of the printer. You type the network address (IP address) of the printer into the address bar of your browser. If you configured a password to secure the EWS you will need that. If you did not program a password you should be able to directly access the functions.
