Hi @JTann,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

  1. Check Printer and Laptop Connection:
    • Ensure that your printer and laptop are connected to the same wireless network. You can check the wireless connection on the printer by touching the Wireless icon on the printer’s display.

Install or Update HP Printer Software:

Download and Install HP Software:

  • Visit the HP Support website to download and install the latest drivers and software for the HP Photosmart 7510.
  • Ensure that you select the correct operating system (Windows or Mac), and follow on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Use HP Smart App:

  • For a more streamlined experience, consider downloading the HP Smart app from the HP Official Website.
  • Ensure the app is installed on your Asus laptop, and follow the instructions to connect your printer to the laptop through the app.

Set Up Scanning Functionality:

Check Printer Settings:

  • On the printer’s control panel, touch the Home icon and then the Scan icon.
  • Choose your scanning destination (e.g., scan to computer) and follow any prompts to complete the setup.

Using HP Scan Software:

  • Open the HP Solution Center or the HP Printer Assistant installed on your laptop.
  • Select the scanning option and follow the on-screen instructions to scan documents and photos.

Check Firewall and Antivirus Settings:

  • Ensure that your firewall or antivirus software is not blocking the HP software. Temporarily disable them during the installation process if necessary and then re-enable them once the installation is complete.

Network Diagnosis:

  • If you are facing connectivity issues, you can use HP’s Network Diagnostic Utility available on the HP Support website to diagnose and fix network connectivity problems.

I hope this helps.
