Hi there

My wife bought a 3760 a while back. I’m thinking a few years. It’s worked on and off but now just doesn’t print unless you turn it on and off, re set, clear caches, clear printing jobs. It doesn’t indicate when it’s low on ink. It doesn’t give error codes. It doesn't do much.

It has perfect wireless location and connection.

Enough ink

Enough paper.
it has it all, but it’s just sat there annoying me.

Hi @Ash-printer,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Restart and Reset the Printer

  • Turn the printer off by pressing the power button.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord and turn the printer back on.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Make sure your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can update the firmware through the HP Smart app or directly via the printer’s control panel if it supports that function.

Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Uninstall the current printer drivers from your computer.
  • Download and install the latest drivers and software for your printer from the HP website.

Check the Ink Cartridges

  • Ensure the ink cartridges are properly installed and that they are not empty or expired.
  • Sometimes, removing and reinstalling the ink cartridges can help reseat them correctly.

Clear Caches and Printing Queues

  • Clear any pending print jobs from the print queue on your computer.
  • Restarting your computer can also help in some instances.

Run Printer Diagnostic Tools

  • Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor, a free tool provided by HP to troubleshoot and resolve printing issues. You can download it from the HP support website.

Printer Maintenance

  • Check for any paper jams or other obstructions inside the printer.
  • Clean the printer’s printhead and cartridges using the built-in cleaning functions available in the printer settings.

I hope this helps.
