HP LaserJet 1020 Printer series driver for macOS 12 is not available from the HP website or Apple Software Update

Of course I know that. This is the first thing Apple says on my iMac. It is also what the tech person I reached out to told me. The point is that my Laser Jet 1020 printer still works really well and I want to continue using it with my iMac. So my question is, how do I keep using my 1020 printer? Or is this planned obsolescence? Because if it is, I promise I will never buy a HP product again.

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do, they are no drivers available and it is not AirPrint compatible.
