I need to factory reset my HP printer to fix the internet connection and I have forgotten the password for my control panel. I have an OfficeJet Pro 9110b series.

Hi @FrankieA7

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand how frustrating this must be—especially when you need to reset your HP OfficeJet Pro 9110b but can't access the control panel. Fortunately, you can perform a factory reset to restore default settings and remove the password.

Steps to Factory Reset HP OfficeJet Pro 9110b

1. Reset via Printer Control Panel

  • Turn on the printer.
  • Press the Setup button (gear icon) on the control panel.
  • Navigate to Printer Maintenance or Tools.
  • Select Restore Factory Defaults.
  • Confirm the reset when prompted.

2. Hard Reset Using Button Combination

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Press and hold the Power button and Cancel button simultaneously.
  • While holding both buttons, plug the power cord back in.
  • Continue holding the buttons until the printer turns on and displays the reset menu.
  • Select Reset or Semi-Full Reset from the menu.

3. Reset via Embedded Web Server (EWS)

  • If you can access the printer’s IP address, open a web browser and enter the IP.
  • Navigate to Settings > Restore Defaults.
  • Select Factory Reset and confirm.

Let me know if you need further clarification! Hopefully, this gets your HP OfficeJet Pro 9110b back to working properly. 😊
